A Letter From the Phi Mu Recruitment Chairman

Hello Ladies,

My name is Emily Roper, and I am the 2008 Recruitment Chairman for Phi Mu here at Georgia Southern University. I would like to take the opportunity to encourage you to participate in the 2008 Recruitment process and see what Greek Life has to offer. It is a wonderful way to get involved in the remarkable Greek community we have here at Georgia Southern; as well as the chance to become more involved on campus and in the community. There is such a special bond between the sisters of Phi Mu that we would love to share with you. Phi Mu is a language of love and sisterhood that I never knew existed; it is real and it is genuine; it is bond that can never be explained. My sisters and I share a love for one another that I could have never experienced in a lifetime if it were not for Phi Mu. It is a friendship that I know will last forever, and a place I can always call home. Phi Mu goes far beyond a “sorority,” it is a family! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you during Recruitment this fall! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Phi Mu Love and Mine,

Emily Roper

Bid Day

The Recruitment of new ladies for the sororities at Georgia Southern will begin on August 10, 2008 and will end on Bid Day, August 15th. Recruitment is a chance for you to get to know the various chapters on the Greek Row and decide which group of ladies will become your lifelong sisters!

Regardless of the sorority that you join, Recruitment is a wonderful way to meet people. During recruitment, take time to choose a group of girls who share your same morals and values. These ladies will be there for you forever! You will get plenty of opportunities to chat with the sisters, enjoy a skit, and learn more about the unique bond of each chapter.
