Phi Mu donates time to other organizations as well. For example, Phi Mu helped to raise money for a local Statesboro organization, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children), by working a spirit night at the Statesboro Chick –Fil- A restaurant where patrons were able to donate money and the restaurant donated 20% of the nights proceeds to CASA.
Another way that Phi Mu helps out around the Statesboro Community is by working together with local elementary schools. Every year Phi Mu assists with Mattie Lively to put together their annual Spring Fling. A group of Phi Mu’s came together to help decorate and chaperone the event. Because of the success, Phi Mu has been asked to come back and help each year.
